Public domain or explicit open license
Free audio is included only when the source states that the recording is public domain or carries a license that permits free listening. Internet Archive items are filtered by license metadata.
No commercial-use restrictions
Lit2Go is excluded because its license restricts commercial use and caps reuse at 25 files. Storynory is excluded because its stories are free to stream but not public domain.
We link, we do not host
Book Search Party does not store or re-upload audio. The listen and download buttons go to the source that hosts the files.
Legacy paid rows are labeled
The old catalog contained many paid-only rows. They remain searchable for coverage, but they are not presented as free and do not get static pages.
