Source allowlist
Fresh data comes from LibriVox, Internet Archive, Loyal Books, and Project Gutenberg. Each source has a recorded license and a commercial-use flag in the source registry.
License filter
Internet Archive items without a public-domain or CC0 license are excluded. Lit2Go and Storynory are excluded for commercial-use restrictions.
Deduplication
Works are matched by normalized title and author, with author dates removed. One work can have several source links. Legacy paid rows are merged only when the work is not already in the fresh catalog.
Freshness and errors
The catalog is refreshed by a manual collection run, reviewed, and committed. The site does not fetch source data at request time. Report a bad link or license through the feedback issue tracker at https://gitlab.com/mybipbopy/booksearchparty/-/issues.
